Ultraviolette EV has announced that they have received Rs.30 Cr as apart of Series B investment from TVS motors today. As coca-cola enters into the buttermilk category expected to raise competition for Amul and Mother Dairy. “VIO Spiced Buttermilk further expands Coca-Cola’s existing portfolio of beverages, providing more choices to the consumers. The introduction of VIO Spiced Buttermilk is a part of the company’s hyper-local strategy that focuses on developing localized products in India to suit consumer preferences specific to a region,” the company said in a statement.


‘Beat the heat’ is the tag line for the product. We think this is a good time to expend the beverage portfolio of coca-cola as the lockdown is expected to continue till July end, the demand for essential, beverages and FMCG products will be in peak. India is one of the biggest dairy producing and consuming country in the world the market players in the regional beverage are very few like Amul and Mother dairy, now VIO spiced buttermilk will provide a tough competition to them.
