Ultraviolette EV has announced that they have received Rs.30 Cr as apart of Series B investment from TVS motors today. Companies like TESLA, Rivian, AUDI, BMW and a few others had already made their impression in EV. But in India, the story is different because there are very few EV players on a small scale level. Companies like TATA and Hero moto corp are investing nickles and dimes many EV startups like Tork motors and Ather Energy. After 14 years of journey, BCCI Might drop Nike as teams kit sponsor:

Nike is the current kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team, as Nike’s 4year contract is coming to end by September 2020 BCCI is trying to find fresh tenders.


Nike has been the Kit sponsor of our Indian cricket team since 2006. “Nike’s current deal as a kit partner of the BCCI is ending in September. It had been a four-year deal worth Rs 370 crore, including Rs 85 lakh per match fee and a royalty of over Rs 30 crore to the board,” said a top source within the BCCI. Nikes business is been drastically affected by this lockdown situation everywhere on the planet and it’s seeking an extension for lost time as a reduction.


Team India has called off 12 international matches during this lockdown like South Africa tour, Srilanka tour and Zimbabwe tour. Since no one knows when the situation will be back to normal and business of Nike be back to the way it was then, they approached the board, but the board didn’t agree with the Nike demand and said they are trying to find ‘Fresh tenders’.
